Nine All-State Musicians for R

QC Honor Flight

These are Wilson Middle School Eighth Grade students in Moline, who showed up to support the Veterans returning from the Honor Flight on November 8th. 48 of Mrs. Resler's students showed up at the airport to honor those who have served. It was a heart warming night for all.

RIHS Charles O. Austin Scholar

At the Board of Education meeting on September 11, twenty Rock Island High School seniors were honored as Charles O. Austin Jr. Scholars. The students were presented with certificates of recognition for completing six semesters of study and earning a 3.5 GPA or higher during each semester (MORE IN PRESS RELEASE).

Rocky Homecoming Court 2012

The Rock Island High School has announced the 2012 Homecoming Court. The King and Queen will be announced at the Homecoming Assembly on Friday, September 21, and then participate in the Homecoming parade at 4:00 p.m. The parade route will be along 24th Street and then turn onto 25th Avenue toward the high school.
